Dr. Zhao is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. His research focuses on engineering students’ engagement in a technology- integrated learning environment and team-based active and collaborative learning performance. He has strong expertise in systems analysis, social network analysis, and technical modeling and simulation. He has published two books and more than twenty scholarly articles in construction engineering and higher education using quantitative methodologies.
